CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DISCURSIVE CONSTRUCTION “STUDENTS OF COVID-19 ERA”

چکیده

The present paper aims to analyse the discursive construction students of COVID-19 (era), which has been broadly used as a label refer all students, who were shifted online education due pandemic situation. Following critical discourse analysis theoretical approach, we examine planes that have built and reinforced this construction. focuses on three main construction: science (s) plane, (online) media everyday life plane. scientific emphasized detrimental effects had is expected learners. Moreover, traditional, online, social continuously pointed negative impact academic performance students. Especially using very powerful tool convey kind stance, i.e., memes. plane also played role in era by bringing up building upon real-life experiences learning loss facing. analyses representative fragments from above-mentioned planes, shed more light construction, pathologizing for whole generation learners affected pandemic.
